Emily grew up in a small southern baptist church the daughter of a deacon and music leader. She was saved at a young age.  While Emily has no children of her own, she is thankful God called her to children's ministry so she has the opportunity to watch kids put all the pieces together and "get it".  She rejoices when she hears of children going home and applying what they've learned in God's word to their daily life. One of her absolute favorite opportunities is VBS.  In addition to children's ministry, she also enjoys watching football, listening to music, and spending time on the beach and on cruises.
